Head BJJ Instructor and Owner - George Acuna

Professor George has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 12 years. In 2008 he started training under Romulo Bittencourt at Renzo Gracie Newark. After 2014 he trained under numerous notable instructors until getting his black belt under the legendary Master Renzo Gracie in 2017. George’s love and passion for Jiu Jitsu is reflected in the way he teaches. His ultimate goal is to share this beautiful art form to as many people as possible and making future world champions.

Head Muay Thai Instructor - Kru Ali

Kru Ali started training Muay Thai in 1992 at Kingsway Gym and a few years laters trained with Kru Phil Nurse at Crunch Gym.  Then he started teaching Muay Thai at Gleason’s Gym in 1996.  Since 1999, Ali has made an annual trip to Thailand first to fight and then eventually training as well as teaching.  He would bring his fighters from the states to Kaewsamrit Gym to train with the legendary Kru Annuwat.  It was there that he became known as “Kru  Ali”.


Since then he has trained many Amateur and Pro fighters at different academies but has always maintained his relationship with Gleason's Gym and Striking 101 academy in New York. Kru Ali has trained all around Thailand. Ali is mostly a Pattaya guy, where he trains his guys mostly at Sitpholek and Sityodtong when in Pattaya. In Ao Nang at Emerald Gym, In Bangkok at Kaewsamrit, 13 Coins and Tuff Gyms. In Chiang Mai at Lanna and in Pai at True Bee's gym and a few more places. He is known most for is clinch and boxing work. He prefers to give the fighter the latitude to fight their fight. Ali is stern on the basics until it comes out in their dreams. This gives his fighters the freedom to transform it into their own brand of stand up.
